ウェブサイト「QLife」を介して、過去1年以内に医療機関の処方でNSAIDs貼付剤を使用した患者を募り、ウェブサイト上で残薬量や用途、副作用などについて無記名のアンケートを行い、618名(男性362名、女性256名、年齢10代〜80代)から回答を得た。処方診療科は整形外科73.8%、内科15.5%、外科7.6%の順で、処方されたパック数は中央値3パック、中に11パック以上の回答もあった。処方量は「ちょうどの量」41.1%、「かなり・やや多め」40.1%、「やや・かなり少なめ」18.8%であった。残薬の保存は「ある」61.2%、その量は中央値1〜2パック、残薬の用途は「同じ症状再発時に使う」71.2%、「家族が必要な時にあげる」49.7%、「別の症状で貼りたい時に使う」39.7%であった。副作用は「あると思う」32.8%、「ないと思う」24.3%、経験した副作用の症状は「かゆみ」40.0%、「かぶれ」39.5%など、使用期限のチェックは「する」58.9%、市販薬との違いは「よく効く」55.0%、「安い」80.0%であった。

病院における抗がん剤の注射剤混合業務環境の実態調査

全国2000病院を対象に抗がん剤調製環境についてアンケート調査を行い、1073施設より有効回答を得た。抗がん剤の注射剤混合業務を実施している360施設において、業務担当者は入院患者の場合は薬剤師70.8%、看護師10.8%、外来患者ではそれぞれ76.9%、10.3%であった。薬剤師が担当している施設の調製作業場所は「専用の調製室」47.9%で、「専用のクリーンルーム」「ほかの作業と兼用のクリーンルームではない部屋」がそれぞれ約20%であった。看護師が担当の施設では「ほかの作業と兼用のクリーンルームではない部屋」が86.7%で、具体的には「ナースステーション」が目立った。抗がん剤を調製する部屋に「保護具等を装着できる前室を備えている」のは30.3%、「流し台を備えている」は65.8%で、「室温のコントロールが調製室だけ独立している」61.4%、「生物学的安全キャビネットを備えている」75.8%、「調整作業時にケモシートを使用している」77.2%であった。

離島における一般用医薬品のインターネット購入に関する意識調査を実施した。1269件中、有効回答は825件で、16歳以上の五島市居住者2.2%にあたり、一次離島居住者648件、二次離島居住者177件であった。インターネット使用可能の離島居住者はインターネットによる一般用品の購入は行っていたが、一般用医薬品の購入を行っているものはほとんどなく、その必要性も感じていなかった。しかし、一部にはインターネットによる一般用医薬品の購入の必要性を感じている者もおり、インターネットによる一般用医薬品の購入を規制するのであれば、それに変わるシステムを早急に構築する必要があった。

インターネットでの一般用医薬品購入に関する離島住民の意識調査

離島地域のうち、インターネット環境がほぼ整備され、薬局・薬店のある地域の居住者を対象に、インターネットでの医薬品購入に関する実態や意識調査を実施して検討した。アンケート回答者の居住している離島を判定し、住民内訳は長崎県五島市66名(68%)、新上五島町6名(6%)、壱岐市25名(26%)であった。離島には薬局・ドラッグストア・薬剤師が存在した。回答者は19歳以下1名(1%)、20〜39歳63名(65%)、40〜59歳21名(22%)、60歳以上12名(12%)であった。75名(77%)は自宅にインターネット環境をもち22名(23%)はもっていなかった。75名の回答者はインターネットで医薬品以外の購入歴がある一方で22名は購入歴がなかった。インターネットで風邪薬などの医薬品を購入した住民は2名(2%)でごく僅かで、95名(98%)は購入したことがなかった。インターネットで医薬品を購入する必要性を感じたことがある回答者は全体の7%であった。
