Finite internal magnetic fields (Bint) of 57Fe are observed for normal conducting Sr2VFeAsO3-δ with δ = 0.267-0.631, exhibiting a coexistence of ferrimagnetic V phase and an antiferromagnetic Fe phase at low temperatures. Superconducting phases of Sr2VFeAsO3-delta appear for samples with δ = 0.031-0.145, although superconducting traces are observed for samples with δ =0.204-0.237.

Mixed Anion Layered Compounds (MALC) exhibit various electronic and functional properties.
In our research, polycrystalline Ca and F co-doped LaFeAsO (La1-xCaxFeAsO1-yFy) samples were synthesized to examine the possible higher Tc stimulated by the co-doping. The polycrystalline samples were prepared by heating a stoichiometric mixtures of LaAs, FeAs, CaO, La2O3, and CaF2 powders. The phase purities and lattice constants were examined by powder X-ray diffraction. The electrical resistivity was measured by DC four-probe technique.
Figure 1 shows the powder X-ray diffraction patterns for La1-xCaxFeAsO1-yFy samples. The main peaks of each samples were assigned to a tetragonal phase. Superconductivity was not observed for nominal　(y-x) = 0.05.　While, superconductivity was observed for nominal (y-x) = 0.15. Tc is observed at 31.5 K for nominal (x, y) = (0.25, 0.50). This Tc is higher than that of LaFeAsO1-xFx.

密度汎関数理論による電子状態計算により, 鉄系高温超伝導体の母結晶であるLaFeAsOとCaFeAsFの固溶体の化学的な安定性を調べ, その内部エネルギーと, 安定構造の理論値を得た。幾つかの原材料の内部エネルギーと目的物質であるLaFeAsO/CaFeAsF固溶体の内部エネルギーの差分を取り、生成エンタルピーの大きさから、目的の固溶体が合成可能であると予想した。実際に、目的の固溶体の合成に成功した。

[Ca12Al28O64]4+(e-)4は C12A7と呼ばれる室温で安定なエレクトライドである。C12A7エレクトライドをアンモニア触媒として知られるRuの担持剤とした(Ru/C12A7:e-)は、常圧においては既存のハーバーボッシュ法よりも高い収率を示す触媒と報告されている。この報告は、(Ru/C12A7:e-)の電子状態を密度汎関数理論によりシミュレートした結果を報告する。Ru 原子層一層の状態においてのみC12A7とRuが混在する表面が安定であると計算された。
