  • 　To innovate professional management research and education, I have established a "Grand Design by Japan" program in which cross-disciplinary research and cross-professional and over-generation education are emphasized. I call for participants from academics, professionals, and students who will participate in this program or following projects. Project 1: To establish crisis and risk management for the future disaster based on research and education on 2011 East-Japan Great Earthquake and Tsunami. Project 2: To establish social institutes and framework for healthy aging.     Research on industrial organization, regulation, and health economics, and apply their results to business education. In order to solve important questions Japan and the world face, I established a “Grand Design by Japan Program” in 2010. This program intends to establish a cross-disciplinary research and education. As a part of this program, I have established and continued research and education projects on “Crisis and Risk Management of the 2011 East Japan Great Earthquake” (2011-present ) and “Healthy Aging.” (2014-present).

    この研究では，第1に主観的健康水準を表す健康指標に注目して，その指標としての性質を検討した。第2に，医療に関する地域間格差の収斂を検討した。また，主観的健康指標として，国民生活基礎調査の「ストレス」に関係する質問項目を平均した「ストレス指標」を作成し，その傾向を明らかにし，さらに決定要因を検討した。
    結果と考察：
    　健康意識と密接に関連する主観的健康指標として「悩み・ストレス」の要因の重要性が示された。ここで，国民生活基礎調査の個票を使用した健康の決定要因の研究を実施したが，被説明変数と説明変数の内生性の問題が回避できなかった。さらに，長期収斂の理論モデルを検討し，都道府県データを用いたモデルを修正し，さらに市町村データに拡張した。市町村データを使用する場合，平成の市町村合併によって，1995年以降，2006年の間に市町村数は半減したという問題，あるいは政策主体としての市町村と，医療の地域単位が必ずしも一致しないため，医療費，医療サービスの収斂の原因として政策の影響が曖昧になった。国民生活基礎調査には，主観的健康度に関する包括的調査であり，主観的健康指標と客観的健康指標を組み合わせる研究が可能である。
    結論：
    　本研究によって，主観的健康水準を表示する健康度指標を利用した研究が可能であることが示された。国民生活基礎調査は，この主観的健康指標の他に，性別，年齢，世帯構成，婚姻，生活様式，就業，所得，貯蓄といった個人属性，悩み・ストレスとその原因，有訴とその症状，入院と通院の有無，通院の原因となる傷病等のデータがあり，それらの個票データを用いた統計的分析を行うことは有望であることが示された。このとき，年齢，性別，地域等の属性の影響の大きさが示された。
