  • 慶應義塾大学環境情報学部教授、政策・メディア研究科委員、博士（学術）。1964年京都府宇治市生まれ。東京農業大学農学部造園学科卒業。鹿島建設建築設計本部、Hellmuth,Obata and Kassabaum Saint Louis Planning Group、株式会社ランドスケープデザイン設計部を経て2015年4月より現職。外部環境のデザインや地図の表現、地域景観などの研究・教育を行っている。著書に「思考としてのランドスケープ　―地上学への誘い」（LIXIL出版、2018年。2019年度造園学会賞著作部門）「ランドスケール・ブック」（LIXIL出版、2012年）「今和次郎『日本の民家』再訪」（瀝青会として共著、平凡社、2012年。日本建築学会著作賞、日本生活学会今和次郎賞）など。2018年度東京農業大学造園大賞「ランドスケープから“地上学”へ ー 場への新たな概念形成とランドスケープの裾野を広げる多面的展開」。関東学院大学建築・環境学部、神奈川大学建築学部非常勤講師。日本生活学会理事。調布市景観審議会専門委員、藤沢駅前街区エリアデザイン会議委員、国立市まちづくり審議会委員。東京大学空間情報科学研究センター客員研究員。

  • A Study on the Meaning and Role of Visualization in the Process of Discussion

    This study explores the practical significance of having meeting participants actively draw during discussions. Unlike exsisting graphic recording, where a designated person visualizes discussions, this study analyzes meetings where participants draw as they talk. Findings include: (1) Collaborative drawings shape discussion direction, (2) Movement and drawing areas emerge, (3) Free movement fosters collaboration, (4) Discussions evolve through additions to drawings, categorized into seven patterns, and (5) Participants reported higher satisfaction when engaging in collaborative drawing during discussions.

The finalized methodology was compiled into a manual and published online for wider accessibility.

    <p>「テクノロジーの力を使い倒すことにより，僕らはもっと自然とともに生きる美しい未来を創ることはできないのか？」という着想から，都市集中型の未来に対するオルタナティブ（代替）を創るために「風の谷」の運動やプロジェクトを進めている慶應義塾大学環境情報学部教授・一般社団法人残すに値する未来代表理事の安宅和人氏に，インタビューを行った。「テクノロジーありきで物事を考えている限り，問題は解けない」ということが指摘された一方，テクノロジーは「リアルを支える」ために必要不可欠な要素であるという見解も示された。また，土地に根ざした人とトラストを形成し，その土地らしいコンセプトなども含めてビジョンを一緒に考えることの重要性が強調された。</p>
