GI型ポリマー光導波路による交差構造が，SI型導波路に比べて低交差損失になることをもとに，24×24チャネルのシャフリング構造を有するGI型ポリマーシャフリング光導波路をインプリント法にて作製し，さらに極めて挟ピッチ化をした上に低損失化が維持されたことを報告した．
