    バナジウム、クロム、鉄の3d遷移金属における電子密度分布を測定するために、約0.2 mm径の球状単結晶を用いてＸ線回折実験を行ない、3d電子の非球対称分布とt(2g)軌道占有率を決定した。その結果は3d金属の電子構造に関する理論の進展に寄与した。
