アジアの祈りにおける身体技法に焦点を当て、儀礼、伝統芸能の調査・分析を行い、それらが現代の芸術表現の身体性との繋がりや融合における可能性について考察を行った。インドネシア、カンボジア、ミャンマー、インドなど、東南アジア、南アジアのリサーチの発展から、フィリピン、ベトナムのリサーチを開始し、その土地に根付く生活文化の独創的な信仰と儀礼、身体芸術・技法の様相について、類似・相違点について考察した。また、また、フィリピン、ベトナムとはオンラインにて舞踊・演劇領域の専門家、大学教員・学生、芸能者、舞踊家、振付家らとレクチャー、シンポジウムを実施し、それぞれのコンテンポラリーダンスの歴史から現在についての情報交換をおこなった。
国内研究では、武術や日本舞踊、狂言、ヒップホップ、バレエなど様々なジャンルを横断し、融合していく技法がいかに新たな展開を成しうるか、コンテンポラリーダンスにおける多様な身体技法について調査・分析した。
また、その土地特有の神話・伝説を現代の舞踊舞台作品に反映させるプロセスとして、共同研究に参加する芸能者が土地の語り・歌として口頭伝承される物語を選出し、それらをドラマトゥルク、演出者が解釈し、作品のストーリーボードを作成する試みを実施し、舞台舞踊作品の構成方法を実践的に精査した。
視聴覚資料作成、他、映像コンテンツの研究成果としては、AIを使用した、映像から３次元CG用のモーションキャプチャデータの作成を実験的に実施し、ディティールの精度が上がれば今後メタバースなどでの仮想ステージライブなどの応用に期待ができることを確認した。

We investigated Japanese traditional thoughts and Western thoughts, which had played important roles in the formation of modern Japanese community theory as represented by the ethics of Watsuji Tetsuro. And from various perspectives, we clarified how Watsuji's thoughts were formed by inheriting and accepting, interlacing those Japanese and Western thoughts. In addition, we examined Watsuji's religious qualities, which had not been emphasized so much in previous studies, and we investigated how the qualities influenced his thoughts. Through these works, we reconsidered and elucidated the premise of modern Japanese community theory and laid the foundation for new discussions about it.

This is research on contradictions and changes in methodologies for the creation of cross-regional performance arts, centered on expressions through dance, body, film, and music in the adoption of Western performance art theories by Asian societies. It focuses on the connections between traditional performance arts and contemporary expressions as well as studies the awareness and potential of contemporary performance arts. This research examines and analyzes traditional martial arts, dance, and music methodologies and their potential in the contemporary world through field research that targets Indonesia which has a diverse cultural background, and other Southeast Asian countries. The research also extends to a practical application in performance art productions based on international collaborations between artists and specialists in Asia.

In this study, we examined the concept of "economy" which had the long history of usage from Aristotle via theology to the modern meaning of economics. What we call "economy" should be taken as a fundamental problem in the domain of ethics that is crossing with the diverse disciplines of studies. To inquire into that enormous and various works requiring study, we managed some seminars to have discussions and to clarify the perspective of this concept. As a result, we acquired a coherent comprehension along the long history of this concept, which, in fact, has not been thematized up to this time. We clarified in the end the essence of the fundamental problems around the "economy" and ethics throughout the individual issues concerning some modern phenomena and modern thoughts.

コンテンポラリーダンスは、1990年前後に世界各地で生まれ、わが国もその中心のひとつである。本研究は、その公演規模(社会的ニーズ)、美的質、社会基盤(政府などによる支援など)について、過去25年分10万件におよぶ統計資料作成、各国政府資料調査、聞き取りなどをおこない、各国の状況を明らかにした。その結果、公的支援が貧弱なわが国においても、公演数/支援額比においては見るべきものがあることなどが明らかになった。

　View Summary

本研究は、性をめぐる学術的研究を踏まえて現代の日本社会における望ましい性のあり方を検討すること、そして市民を読者対象とする著書を出版することを目的としている。今年度は最終年度にあたるので、青年の性意識調査を手がけるグループAを理論的考察を行うグループBが補佐する形で調査データの分析を行い、調査に協力してくれた青年層の人々に役に立つ情報発信の準備を行った。なおグループAの連携研究者として竹中健(札幌市立大非常勤講師、社会学)が加わった。詳細は以下のとおり。
1.インタビューデータの整理
合計29本(1本あたり90〜120分)のインタビューデータを、インタビュー協力者のプライバシー保護、及び、公開意志の尊重に留意して整理し、『青年の性意識/インタビュー決定稿』として仕上げた。これは、(1)固有名詞を伏せるマスキングを行い、(2)それに対するインタビュー協力者の本人チェックを要請し、さらに、(3)本人チェックに基づいてデータを書き換えるという3重の作業を経て獲得されたものである。このような厳重な作業を経て獲得されたデータは非常に貴重なものであり、性という領域についてはこれまでに殆ど例がないものである。このデータは『青年の性意識/インタビュー決定稿』というタイトルを付けて保存され、今後の学術的研究、及び出版のために役立てられる。
2.研究会
年度内に3回の研究会を実施して、アンケート及びインタビューの、(1)データ整理の進め方、(2)考察に関する編集方針について協議した。日程は、1回目が9月1日、2日、2回目が12月18日、3回目が2月16日である。
3.出版企画
インタビューに基づく図書『インタビュー「大学生の性意識」』(仮題)の出版企画を、出版社に打診しつつ作成した。第一部では10人前後のインタビュー協力者を選んで比較的詳しく紹介し、第二部では、論文及びコラム形式で青年層が抱える諸問題を考察するという2部構成とした。第二部の考察に際してはアンケートデータも取り入れる。この図書は、青年層の多様な現状を伝えると共に、青年層が抱えている困難を抜き出して解決策を提案するものとなるはずである。年度末に執筆分担を決め、執筆を開始した。
