In this study, we aim to develop a learning method of non-verbal knowledge such as motion and multimodal dialogue with a robot using a cloud robotics platform. Time series prediction method based on Deep Neural Network which introduced Dynamic Pre-training was proposed and its effectiveness was validated by using a standard motion data. In addition to improving the cloud robotics platform Rospeex, we have built a domestic service robot that has over 10,000 multimodal concepts. We also developed a multimodal language understanding method Latent Classifier GAN (LAC-GAN) that can understand user commands according to the situation.

Motion to Text Based on Probabilistic Imitation Learning

Imitation learning has been paid much attention from the robotics and artificial intelligence communities. This project focuses on an online imitation learning method based on the maximum likelihood trajectories given by reference-point-dependent hidden Markov Models (RPD-HMMs). In the experiments, a user demonstrated the manipulation of objects so that the motion could be learned. The experimental results have shown that the proposed method decreases the average generation error in the trajectories. The proposed method is deployed on a service robot that generate learned motions through spoken dialogues.

日常環境で人と共生するロボットの実現には，ユーザや状況に適応したコミュニケーションが重要となる．本研究では，物体の名称や動作などの実世界知識を学習可能なロボット対話フレームワークの確立を目指す．今年度はロボット対話技術のクラウド化と，一般公開を行った．
（１）ロボット対話技術のクラウド化：音声コミュニケーション可能なロボットにおいては，ロボット上の計算機によって音声処理が行われることが多い．しかしながら，そのようなスタンドアロン型の機構では，高精度な音声認識や高品質な音声合成が難しい．そこで本研究では，ロボット向けのクラウド型音声認識・合成ツールキットrospeexを開発した．rospeexの音声認識部は，前年度にロボカップ＠ホームタスクを用いて実証実験を行ったモジュールを拡張したものである．また，rospeexの音声合成部には，前年度に開発した非モノローグ音声合成技術を用いている．
（２）クラウド型音声コミュニケーションツールキットrospeexの公開：サービスロボットの開発では，開発コストを抑えられることからRTミドルウェアやROS（Robot Operating System）などのミドルウェアの利用が一般的になりつつある．しかしながら，ミドルウェアに対応した音声対話モジュールはスタンドアロン型を前提としたものが多い．そこで，研究コミュニティ全体の開発スピード向上に貢献するために，rospeexを無料かつ認証不要で公開した．クラウド型音声合成のみのユーザも合わせて，半年間で3000ユニークユーザを達成した．これらの実ユーザの利用を分析し，実用的に十分な速度で音声認識・合成処理が実行できることを確認した．

A Study on User Adaptation of Dialog and Behavior for Home Assistant Robots

In order to realize the safe and secure communication with home assistant robots, we developed the following three methods which enable the robots to adapt their dialog and behavior to user's life space and behavior : (1) learning and understanding of mobile manipulation direction utterances, (2) learning and understanding of motion direction utterances, and (3) utterance generation for forming mutual beliefs with users. Moreover, using the autonomous robot that was implemented these methods to, we won first prize at RoboCup@Home which is an international competition for home assistant robots.
