　View Summary

46名の非糖尿病肥満者で、18ヶ月の運動、食事療法による減量を行い、その前後で、血中adiponectin, GTT, 体脂肪測定、CTによる体脂肪分布を行いこれらの関連を比較検討した。体重減少は少なくてもインスリン感受性の指標は改善した。インスリン感受性の指標の変化は、体脂肪量、内臓脂肪量の変化と関連がありadiponectinとは関連がなかった。

　View Summary

身体活動量と心血管系疾患との関連について、特に女性に焦点をしぼって、現在までの疫学研究の結果をレビューし、今後の課題についてまとめた。概して、身体活動量と心血管系疾患との関連は、男性における結果と同様の傾向にあったが、リスク軽減に有効な身体活動量は、女性において低い傾向を認めた。また、現在までの研究のほとんどは欧米諸国で行われており、アジア、アフリカなどからの結果は少ない。今後それらの国での研究も推奨し、結果を検討していく必要がある。
