Western Carolina University Master of Project Management Program is the first of its kind in the US and the first program to accredited by PMI-Global Accreditation Center in 1983. It's 24-month, 36 credit-hour program curriculum is designed on the themes of project life-cycle phases and all knowledge areas covered in PMBOK and project management literature. The program mission is to educate individuals worldwide with skills and knowledge to become leaders of project management profession. On the other hand, Graduate School of System Design and Management in Keio University was founded in 2008 where “Project Management” is one of its core courses for Master Degree Program. The program has been designed to nurture next generation global leaders having Systems Engineering skills. In this lecture, Dr. Anantatmula introduces PM Program at WCU and Dr. Toma does SDM Program at Keio University. After the introduction, the speakers discuss PM curriculum at higher education with audience.
