加熱平板状の比較的低レイノルズ数の流れでは 浮力の影響により流れが不安定になり層流から 乱流に遷移する。その流動をＬＤＶにより測定 し, 熱伝達の急激な変化が大きな過運動により 支配されていることを示した。
