  本講義は前任者阿部芳郎教授の定年退職の後を引き継ぐ形で講義する事となった。昭和61年度〜平成3年度は黒板への記述による講義，平成4年度〜平成10年度はＯＨＰを利用しての講義，平成11年度からはＰＰＴを利用しての講義へと変化している。ＰＰＴ利用になってからは1時限中に解説する約30〜35コマのスライドを学生に資料としてハードコピーを配布している。また実際に化学エンジニアとして活躍している技師，田崎稔氏（技術士，ＰＥ，前千代田化工㈱，現三井物産㈱勤務）の特別講義を開催したりして，
  講義にアクセントをつけ，学生の興味を惹くように努力している。
