マドリードの国立ソフィア王妃芸術センターの歴史について博士論文をまとめました。その後も近現代美術の美術館学・美術館史ならびに政府による芸術政策についての研究を継続しています。その一方、来日を機に、日本にある資料を用いて、日本とスペインの近現代美術交流史の研究を開始しました。現在はジョアン・ミロと瀧口修造の関係について日西共同国際研究を進めています。
